Lo Bueno: marvelous picture except for bowing at bottom corners.
Lo Malo: Bowing of picture at bottom corners.
Resumen: Bowing could not be corrected by service tech so, after much ranting, cajoling pushing by me local authorized service center, Samsung has agreed to exchange set for later model HL-61A650. This is supposed to happen in 14-21 days. Service tech said "Samsung is aware of picture bowing with this model; push for exchange get model without "T" in model number. "T" models all have bowing." Shame on Samsung for continuing to sell a model they know is defective. Samsung website does not show this model anymore so I assume they have discontinued it.

Lo Bueno: Huge Screen1080pPriceSlendernessWeight
Lo Malo: Bulb Lifetime
Resumen: This television is phenomenal. It has a huge 61 in. screen that grabs the attention of anyone who walks into its vicinity. Picture quality is great. This set natively supports 1080p (real HD) so you know that you're getting the best quality picture. I purchased this television for $1500 and it's worth every penny, just take a look at what plasmas or LCDs of this size cost. This set is extremely slender. When looking at it head on it completely looks like a huge plasma. People literally have to go and look at the back of the set to notice that it isn't a plasma. I absolutely love the design. Another thing that took me by surprise is how light the television is. I have other televisions half as big but twice as heavy. The only weakness that I can say that this television has is that it uses a consumable bulb to emit the picture so one must replace the bulb once every 3 - 6 years, depending on usage. The bulbs go for as low as $125 which in this case it isn't that bad considering how great the picture and size is. This is by no means out dated technology. The picture quality that this television displays is sometimes considered to be sharper and that of plasmas. Its 1080p support means that when Blu-Ray disc replaces DVD you will be watching your movies in the best possible resolution. All in all, I believe that by purchasing this TV you are making the best possible decision.

Lo Bueno: Really love the large screen yet very light (about 75 lbs), took less than 30 secs to get started once powered up, best part is it can hooked up to the laptop too.
Lo Malo: Not much that I have found so far, it you sit at an angle to the TV then the brightness is low.
Resumen: My expereince of using price grabber to find this product and then buy it online was a positive one, it was delivered right to our family room and the cardboard packing was very easy to slide off the top, no heavy lifting, I advise use of price grabber to get the best value of your online purchases.

Lo Malo: Little noisy when turning it on.
Resumen: Good deal for the money! Could not find it in the San Antonio area for this price! Was $400.00 cheaper and included a free DVD recorder in the deal along with no sales tax and free shipping. Very hard to beat this deal! Vanns was great with their service and support!
