Lo Bueno: Looks pretty.
Lo Malo: Product support?!? There isn't any!
Resumen: TomTom is NoGo.Less than 2 weeks old and the darn thing froze. Comes up to a blank screen, can't turn off except to hit reset. Even my computer doesn't recognize it.Called TomTom Support. Only open business hours, which is wonderful if I had nothing to do all day long! Couldn't help me and they offered to allow me to ship it back to them (at my expense) and they would fix it. That would take about 2 weeks.

Lo Bueno: Configurable, Speech Address, Re-routing, Fast GPS acquisition
Lo Malo: Too many options, Lacks altitude measurement
Resumen: After using a Garmin Nuvi 360, the TomTom 920 was a major adjustment. The TomTom has screen after screen of configurable options. This much configurability gives you a great amount of control, but it takes time to find what your looking for. The screen is great and provides more detail than anything I've used previously. The Voice address input worked great for me, but my wife had difficulties with accuracy. The unit lacks the ability to measure altitude. Once configured the unit is a joy to use. The ability to reroute with the touch of a finger on the map is amazing.

Lo Bueno: ttc, 4.3" screen, remote control, voice recognition, bluetooth
Lo Malo: didn't with a wall charger
Resumen: Thre is my second GPS (I also have Navigon 7100). It is a very powerful and useful GPS that is a pleasure to use. The first things I notice about the TomTom GO 920 are its fine construction materials, finish and design. Comes with remote control so there is no need to craning forward to get at the touchscreen. The remote is intuitive, controls most features. The GO 920 also offers an excellent map browse feature and as it has bluetooth it lets you set up a hands free calling.

Lo Bueno: bluetooth, slim design, solid build quality, voice activation, editable POIs
Lo Malo: tricky mount
Resumen: A great GPS for a decent price. Very feature rich unit, with built-in bluetooth, voice address input, and many others. You could also edit POIs in this unit, which i find really handy. The main complaint is that the mounting of this unit is tricky. many times you'll find that the suction cup is not providing enough strength and just drops. after several times of re-try, it stays firm no problem.

Lo Bueno: Strong singal, large LCD, EU maps
Lo Malo: Complicated GUI, no carrying case
Resumen: I used a Tomtom one before then switched to Garmin due to Garmin's better GUI. I still think Garmin has the better GUI today. However this 920 is a good GPS. It has the maps for 41 EU countries besides US and Cadana. The LCD is very clear. It acquires signal very fast. I got strong signal even within my house. I remember 910 came with a case. But this 920 does not have a case even though it does have a remote. For less than $300, this is definitely a good buy.

Lo Bueno: Great number of features.Maps of Europe for international travellers.Text to speech feature helps you keep your eyes on the road.Hands free operation.Remote control for backseat navigation.
Lo Malo: Since it has many features, it is more expensive than most.Have to buy the 920T to get the traffic receiver or purchase the reciever separately.
Resumen: I have used many different types and models of GPS systems during my business travel, and the TOMTOM was always the best. So I bought one for myself. All of the necessary features are included in the 920 model except for the RDS-TMC traffic receiver, which comes standard with the 920T model but costs more. Has bonus features to customize the voice (you have to add the Mr. T voice), car icon, and many others. I would recommend TOMTOM and if you travel to Europe, the 920 model is the one to buy.

Lo Bueno: Good price North American and European maps in one device (but see below) MapShare Interface with Google maps Strong GPS receiver picks up signal even while indoors
Lo Malo: Either you live with an older map of Europe plus North America or you have up-to-date European map without North American map. Weak FM transmitter No carrying case Poor tech-support
Resumen: Note: Device internal memory is 3.76 GB. The new European map is about 1.9Gb and so is the North American map. The device also needs application files, making the internal mammary insufficient. However, tech-support simply does not seem to understand (?admit) this simple math. I found a way around this by buying a 4GB SDHC card and putting North American map on Internal memory and European map on the card.

Lo Bueno: Accurate maps, easy to travel with, precised commands.
Lo Malo: Touch screen is too sensitive- sometimes, one finger touch takes you through all the menu options.
Resumen: I recommend it! Is a great device. You don't hear "recalculating" every time you change the route, but quietly is looking for options. I had a Garmin, and every time was loosing the signal, I heard "recalculating" which drove me crazy.

Lo Bueno: Most feature-laden GPS at a very reasonable street price. Many improvements over previous flagship 910 model. Remote control (not even Garmin offers a remote).
Lo Malo: Suction mount takes a step back. "No official" support for high capacity SDHC cards.
Resumen: I upgraded from the TomTom 910 which I was very happy with. The 920 represents many significant hardware and software improvements which stamps it as the "GPS to get". Slim form factor, Bluetooth remote (compared to line of sight IR), Speech recognition works very well for inputting directions, good sounding speaker, solid feel (improved from 910), uses standard USB connector for charging, FM transmitter built-in (works decent). The passive suction mount does take a step back, i.e. not as tight of a suction, mostly because new model weighs less. It has stayed on my windshield, only falling off once in the two months I've had it.--- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED UNIT ---

Lo Bueno: 4.3 color viewing screen. Wonderful touchscreen. Accepts voice-prompted address entries. Clear spoken and displayed directions.
Lo Malo: None
Resumen: This unit outshines the Garmin nuvi 760 I originally purchased for my vehicle. I didn't like Garmin for a variety of reasons. This Tomtom GO 920 has such accurate maps that can be updated to reflect Points of Interest. You can correct an error on the map, then upload to a computer and it is fixed for the next time. You can also download corrections from other users for free. 3D map view, turn by turn navigation, voice guidance, bluetooth, built-in MP3 player, picture viewer, alarms, fm transmitter, odometer, compass, 4 GB of internal memory, approx. 5 hours battery life per charge. This Tomtom GO 920 does it all. I am extremely pleased with it.

Lo Bueno: Big clear screen, very precise, mapshare feature so you are never out of date, speech to input destination, no delay in navigation direction.
Lo Malo: traffic system does not work well. Cannot even get batteries into the remote control.
Resumen: In general, this is a very good product that has only been wrong a few times. The good part of this, unlike other brands is that you can correct an error on the map, upload to the computer and it is fixed for the next time - and you can also download corrections from others for free, instead of continually paying for new maps. The traffic system does not work well, which actually was one of the main reasons I purchased it. Sometimes even it shows a delay, it most often will not recalculate an alternative even when programmed to do so. The bigger problem is that most of the time, it will show "no delays on route" even at a time when I was on the highway going 5mph in a snowstorm and it showed I would arrive at my destination - 53 minutes late, but it still showed " no delays on route" even when the icon was pushed several times. Many times it won't pick up a traffic signal at all, even though before purchase, I went to the website to be sure that the areas that I am in most of the time were in coverage and they were. Because of this, I feel this feature is a waste and you could just as well with the 720 which my wife uses and save a lot of money. I also don't like that they make a big deal about all of the voices that you can get, but don't tell you that unless you use their computer generated standard voice - you can't get the updates for traffic, weather, or even have street names read aloud to you. The extra voices are purely for entertainment only. I do like the display, the fact that the mapshare program allows you to make corrections to the map and always have up to date maps - unlike other manufacturers. In fact, on other manufacturer models the street I live on and others in the area which have existed for more then 4 years do not even show up, and they couldn't tell when they would, but they do show up on this product. I also like that you can customize the colors of the display and choose the display for the vehicle that you want to represent your car or truck. Another good feature of the unit are the help guides, to get you somewhere if you are walking, or to a specific type of place like auto repair, etc. I like that you can also download a program although it costs, that gives you gas prices in the area and along your route. In today's world that can be very important. I also found that so far, I cannot get the remote control to work for this, and the sound quality when paired with my bluetooth phone is terrible. Much better to use my headset and still be handsfree.

Lo Bueno: Bluetooth, Spoken Nav To Entry System, Accurate Maps
Lo Malo: None so far
Resumen: I've tried numerous GPS systems, most recently Garmin nuvi 760. This TomTom 920 has the most accurate maps, POIs are up to date and very accurate. I was skeptical about the voice recognition, but it actually works!!! You also receive free map updates for one year. This unit may be a little pricey, but so far it's worth it. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Lo Malo: None
Resumen: I love this GPS. I have had for 5 days now and did not see anything bad with it so far. It give clear directions and the bluetooth works great. It also comes with a remote control which I think is very usefull as well. I highly recommend this product. I bought it for $500.

Lo Bueno: Lots of functionalities
Lo Malo: FM trasmitter is weak, Fastest route is not always fatest
Resumen: This is the latest TomTom model, which has the remote control and the voice recognition feature. Overall, we are very satisfied with this machine. The user interface is very friendly and easy to use. It re-calculates very fast each time if we miss a turn or do not want to follow the provided routes due to some reasons. Although it does not recognize some street close to our home, we can correct the maps by ourselves and share with other users. The Mp3 player works great but the FM transmitter is kind of weak. The POI is only categorized in very high level. For example, you can find "resturants" but cannot select "cuisine" type. So you can only look for restaurants in a city but not Italian restaurants in a city.Other than that, we enjoy all the features it has. And it does look much prettier than most of the other brands.

Lo Bueno: SIRF Star III Chipset allows for fast satellite fixes.
Lo Malo: Does not connect to my T-mobile SDA phone. It is not supported.
Resumen: This is really a great GPS. Very fast and re-routes quickly. The mapshare feature is really wonderful. The GPS charges easily with the Motorola cell phone charger at home so that it ready to use when I take it in the car.
